It’s finally here, the beginning of a new era for one of the most interesting and refreshing bands you’ll hear at the moment. Sugar Spine dropped a brand new single, and asked a very special friend to join in on the fun.
Hisashi picks up where last year’s massive single “Throat Full of Ash” left off; unrelenting, chaotic, intimidating and focused. It blasts into existence with a storm of blasts, dissonant chords and unbridled roars, and carries an oppressive energy throughout its entirety.

This also marks the band’s first guest vocalist in the form of Andreas Bjulver, vocalist of Danish deathcore band Cabal. He heralds the start of what is easily Sugar Spine’s heaviest sequence yet, and assaults the listener with his trademark gravelly growls.

Sugar Spine is going to fill up the rest of 2023 with a collection of singles that will prove to the listener that this Dutch-based/Aussie-led metalcore/deathcore band is one to watch out for. Now a fully-formed group, expect to see the band unleashing fury on stages across the Netherlands soon.
